Appointment & Scheduling Policies

Our goal at Total Pet Care is to provide the best quality care for each pet in a timely manner. The demand for appointments is very high and we recognize that everyone’s time is valuable. We have the following policies in effect to help provide that care to your pet(s) efficiently.

Due to an increase in “no call no show”, late, or same day rescheduled appointments and an increase in demand for veterinary care, we are going to be enacting a fee associated with appointments that are missed or rescheduled within 24 hours.
If you fail to notify us that you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, we will be asking for a non-refundable deposit of the current cost of the exam upon scheduling your next appointment. By providing us notice of cancellation or a need to reschedule, we may be able to provide necessary care to another patient in need of an appointment. If the pre-paid appointment is missed or rescheduled within the 24 hour time frame, we will retain your deposit and you will be asked to apply another deposit to reschedule said missed/rescheduled appointment. We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise, but it is very important that you notify us in advance of your scheduled appointment if you are unable to attend. If you are 10 or more minutes late to your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule that appointment. We make every effort to ensure our schedule runs on time throughout the day so each and every patient is receiving the quality of care that we strive for. Since we practice Fear Free at Total Pet Care, some appointments may run longer than others, so by being late, that may decrease the time that we have set in place for certain patients. We thank you for your understanding as we make these changes to maintain the highest quality of care that we can to our clients and patients.
